Paula Scher Bio
Paula Scher studied at the Tyler school of Arts in Philadelphia earning a bachelor in fine arts. She was awarded a Doctor of Fine Arts honor from Corcoran College of Arts and Design in Washington D.C. In the 1970's she designed album covers for CBS records and Atlantic records. She was the principle at the NY office of the Pentagram design consultancy. She started her own design firm called Koppel & Scher, and was inducted into the art director hall of fame in 1998. Her work includes the New York Times magazine, New York Public Theater, Champion International Corporation, Philip Van Heusen, American Museum of Natural History, Coke and the New York City Ballet.
